Arusha also called the “Geneva of Africa” is located in the northern highlands of Tanzania. It’s high location on the southern slopes of Mt. Meru keeps temperature and humidity relatively low.

It is also one of the most prosperous cities of Tanzania and a peaceful idyll of relaxation before the start of an exciting journey, because it is the hub of the northern Tanzania safari circuit such as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park, Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Lake Manyara National Park, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru.

The region is considered the de facto capital of East Africa and is an important international diplomatic center of the country. It is also a multicultural city with a predominantly Tanzanian population with a mixed background.
